Very friendly service Good ambience, clean facility The standard gyro I had was ok, I was expecting it to be great

Amazing service. The piano player was the icing on the cake! The presentation of everything was beyond my expectations. We will definitely be back. The owner stopped by to ask how everything was! Impressive!

This is the highest rated restaurant in all of Sonora. The food is homemade Greek made by real Greek cooks with the best quality and flavors you could ever taste. I have been working here for a couple weeks and this is basically my kitchen away from home. It's delicious, healthy, good portions, and valuable for the money. I highly recommend giving this place a try whenever in town. It doesn't matter what you order on the menu, it's all just as delicious. It's a family run operation and everyone there is warm and friendly. I hope to come back

Ambiance was nicely "Greek style" (blue and white with pics of Greece), and clean. The service was solid, and smooth. The food was wonderful. I ordered the lamb skewers and shared the mousaka with my spouse. Wonderful. We shall return.

I had been wanting to try out this location for months and it did not disappoint. Darlene our waitress was extremely attentive with refills of fresh coffee the entire meal. I had called ahead requesting breakfast in the middle of the afternoon and thankfully they offer it all day long. Definitely stop by if that's what your craving not during typical breakfast time. The bathrooms were basic but clean and the vibe was pleasant. It was not crowded which we enjoyed. We will absolutely be back to try more options. Hidden gem!

Food was fantastic and the service was even better. I have been to Yianni's Grill numerous times and have never had anything but great food and great service. I had my Grandsons birthday dinner there and they went well out of their way to make it a special occasion for him. If you want a fantastic meal with great service and a place where you can take the whole family and be able to enjoy each other then you need to try this place out

We loved the place. Food was amazing. Everyone was polite. My son chose this place to celebrated his birthday and he added this restaurant to his list for a future visit.

So we were walking through town and wanted to eat. I checked Yelp and Yianni's had great reviews and was a block away. What a great choice! Ysa and Anita started with mint tea and I had iced tea. Anita had the Cowboy, Ysa had the Spanakopita with green beans and I had the Pastitsio with a roasted potato. We split a Bougatza for dessert. All the food was delicious! We left stuffed and will definitely return next time we travel this way! Oh and they have a great 19th century bar and a piano player almost as old stopped in to entertain us.

I'd been wanting to check out Yianni's for forever and I was so glad to finally have the opportunity to do so a couple of weeks ago. After a local event in the area finished, my husband was hungry and we were excited to learn that Yianni's was still open. We popped in - and being that it was late - we were some of the only patrons in the place. Right away - the staff couldn't have been more welcoming. I appreciated the brightly decorated interior. The restaurant felt open and calming and we happily grabbed a table. The staff were quick to grab us menus. My husband ordered the Gyro plate and allowed me some bites from it. It was amazing. The Gyro was so well seasoned and you could tell that everything was made in house and with love. Yianni's has been building a solid customer base since it first opened. Friends regularly gush about their extensive and delicious menu. In addition to a standout lunch and dinner menu - they also have a phenomenal breakfast menu that includes swoon-worthy breakfast sandwiches and waffle bowls. Just browse through some of the added photos on their Yelp listing to get an idea of their epic breakfast dishes.. I am so glad that Yianni's opened up in Sonora. Their menu is full of healthy and flavorful options and they understand the importance of fantastic customer service and serving up quality dishes made with great ingredients. Our meal here was definitely up there as one of favorites in the area. Trust

After our first experience at Yiannis, we really couldn't wait to return. Not two weeks after our first visit, my wife asked to go on a Thursday for her birthday dinner. Again, as we entered a fairly busy restaurant we were happily welcomed in. I can't stress enough how friendly everyone is. We were quickly seated and went to place our drink orders when Michael, the manager, came by to greet us. Michael mentioned they had two Greek beers, so naturally, when in Greece, do as the Greeks do. We ordered the Fix and the Hellas beers, and my daughter got a chocolate milkshake. Isella waited on us this visit. We ordered the spanakopita and a cup of Avgolemono soup to start. Spanakopita was absolutely perfect! Smothered in extra (should be world famous) tzatziki, it is so fresh and flavorful! As a lover of thick, hearty, American style soup, this soup was hearty, yet light, and full of flavor. Not on the thick side, and not on the thin watery side, it's just perfect. Buttery, lemony, and lite, it could not be more satisfying. My wife ordered the chicken souvlaki with the amazing Greek rice. I was batting between the pork souvlaki and a gyro. Isella recommended the lamb kabobs. I trusted her and ordered the lamb kabobs with Greek rice and the extra tub of tzatziki. Our daughter was happy to order the grilled cheese and fries. Everything, and I mean everything was perfect! The lamb was seasoned so nicely and was as tender as can be. The rice is so seasoned and flavorful. Both of the beers pair with the food perfectly. The brightness and body of each beer is perfect for the foods flavor profile. The freshness of the onion, turmeric, oregano, and tzatziki, match the brightness and balance of the beers. We finished our evening off with the blueberry Bougatsa. Such a lovely treat! Truth be told, we had a change in weekend plans, so we returned back on Saturday (yes, two days later) with my mother and father in law. My in laws were so impressed with the restaurants decoration, temperature, and cleanliness as well and the comfort of the seating. They couldn't wait to try the food. We were quite pleased to see they were very busy. We were quickly seated and Marissa came to take our drink orders. It's not a fluke, this is a restaurant with caring people. The owners and management have created a great culture for the patrons. Yiannis has become a special place for us. I highly recommend Yiannis Grill.
